Great wines must be an authentic reflection of the vineyard where they came from.

Lagarde is, with 110 years of history, one of the few establishments to arise from explosion of viticulture at the beginning of the 19th century, which today preserves the magic of artisan production and elaboration of its wines.

Lagarde is a member and founder of the first Controlled Appellation of Origin in of Mendoza for Luján de Cuyo.

Strolling through its winery, its patios and the old house, one can still breathe what Mendocino life must have been then.

Jose Angel Pereira, a captain of the national artillery, returning from the conquest of the Patagonia campaign decided to establish himself in Luján de Cuyo.

During the mid 1970’s the winery was passed to the Pescarmona family who were close friends of Captain Pereira, who had no descendants.

Since then Lagarde has produced with high quality wines, striving to maintain the spirit of an artisan winery while introducing all the new technological advances.

Today Lagarde is managed by the third generation of the Pescarmona Family, represented by Sofia Pescarmona de Boschi.

Restó is situated in the original colonial house of the winery. In this unique and charming restaurant, visitors can enjoy an exclusive five course menu matched with the best wines of Lagarde.

Special tutored tastings are in held the old colonial house.
