The Familia Arizu family take pride in a tradition that was born more than a hundred years ago.
Arizu means "oak grove", a sign of the importance oak wood would have in their story since they first established their vineyards in 1901.
Through their Luigi Bosca Winery, the family were a main protagonist in Luján de Cuyo becoming recognised as the first official DOC of Argentina (and all South America).
Over the years, the family have worked towards improving the observation and understanding of nature, thus giving rise to their approach to wine-making. Luigi Bosca have adopted some of the most beneficial principles of the biodynamics philosophy.
