Viña Casa Marín is a family-owned winery located in the San Antonio appellation, only 2.5 miles from the coast and is currently Chile's closest vineyard to the Pacific Ocean.
Viña Casa Marin was founded in 2000 by Maria Luz Marín, winemaker and entrepreneur, whose goal was to lead innovation in local area wine production through her passion for creating premium wines that represent the terroir.
Casa Marin has been described as one of the “most daring and innovative” vineyards in the country. Surrounded by the steep hills of the Chilean coastal mountains, the unique microclimate and wide variety of soils found here give birth to a “terroir” recently discovered for the viticulture of fine wines.
The first 25 hectares were planted with Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Gewürztraminer and Riesling.
