Viña Falernia was founded in 1998 by Aldo Gramola and his cousin Giorgio Flessati, a seasoned winemaker from the Trentino region of Northern Italy.
They shared a passion to realise the potential of this semi-arid valley, transforming a tract of desert into a green vineyard with enormous potential for producing premium wines.
This is a highly innovative venture given that Viña Falernia is Chile’s most Northerly wine estate, a considerable distance from the country’s main wine-growing areas.
