Tapiz winery has been owned by the Ortiz family since 2003, having been originally built in 1999 as the Argentine branch of US wine producer, Kendall Jackson.
Bodegas Tapiz is now one of the most technologically advanced wineries in Argentina and marries Argentina's best vineyards with winemaking expertise.
Tapiz vineyards are located in the Valle de Uco and Agrelo regions, province of Mendoza. Mt. Plata (6100 metres) and Tupungato volcano (6800 metres), overlook the state-of-the-art winery providing a magnificent scenery. .
