Viña Tres Palacios is a family-run wine cellar established in 1996 by the Palacios family. The winery and vineyards are situated in a beautiful sub valley called Cholqui which means `birds head` in the native language.
Viña Tres Palacios was the first vineyard to plant grapevines in the small valley of Cholqui (located in the lower Maipo Valley). Patricio Palacio pioneered the planting of vineyards in this location striving to make Chilean varietal wines which reflect the uniqueness of the terroir.
